18 months ago I put a photo on here with a profile. It wasn't the first time I'd tried - but maybe I'd got a bit more sure of what I wanted in the meantime ... or maybe it was just that I'd gone to the trouble of getting a photo done professionally! Anyway, within days I heard from a woman who I met and felt an instant kinship with. As destiny would have it - she felt the same way about me.

We are total soulmates and have been living together for over a year - and this November we are getting married. Each day gets better and better, and it all started here. This really is a place where dreams can happen - but in my case it also took a bit of effort and faith on my part too - so don't despair if it doesn't happen straight away, reinvent yourself and have another go. I was first attracted to the internet back in 1994 - and thought this would be a great way to bring people together ... I never imagined I would meet my wife this way, and couldn't be happier that I have - for coming from different cultures, we would otherwise have been unlikely to cross paths - and yet we are so similar, and understand each other so deeply.

This site has cut across culture to bring to kindred spirits together. Thank you, a thousand times thank you.
