FindSomeone

We met on FindSomeone over 4 years ago- right around the time of the first Christchurch earthquake. Josh lived in Auckland, so after a few months of messaging and Skyping, He came down to Christchurch to meet me in person. We were delighted to discover that the chemistry we shared online translated easily into real life. A month later, I moved up to Auckland to start a new degree and to see where things went with Josh.

2 years later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Josh was my rock- even though we separated during treatment, he was there for me everyday. I went through a full mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. A week after my last radiation treatment, we went on a ski trip to Ruapehu. We knew then that things were still very much alive between us, and we got back together.

Now, 2 years after my diagnosis, and cancer free, we are back in Christchurch to get married next weekend. I am so deliriously happy that I found my someone. We can't thank you enough for connecting us, and providing a safe platform to get to know people. I totally recommend using FindSomeone- in fact, another girl I introduced to FindSomeone married the person she found a couple of years ago, and they now have 3 kids!
