We started off as just friends in September 2001 as Shane had just come out of an eight year relationship and I was seeing someone else off your site. We talked briefly as friends for a couple of months and then didn't speak again for about 4 months as shane started night work in Palmerston North and I moved over to Korea in March 2002 to teach for the year. Shane subsequently started seeing someone and I had broken off my relationship. In March 2002 when I got to Korea I logged on again and it so happened that the time difference between the 2 countries meant that it coincided with Shane getting up late in the afternoon before starting night shift and my lunch break. We talked for 2 hours every day and up to 8 hours every day on the weekend online. We soon realised how similar our hopes, dreams and ambitions were so I decided to come home for a week in July 2002 meanwhile Shane had met my parents 3 times even before I had met him face to face. The visit in July cemented ! what we both thought and I went back to Korea to cancel my contract and return in December 2002 as I missed Shane and also had 2 good friends getting married in NZ. Well things turned to custard pretty quick in Korea with my job so I was home at the start of October. Shane and I got engaged on New Years eve and what do you know we are now married and looking at starting a family by the end of 2004. What a story!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe
