Just wanted to say FSO rocks and does work for those who are prepared to do the groundwork.

My wonderful man and I first had contact on FSO in August 2002... He had the same name as my dad - ünloved noel... I just had to message this man.... then I checked out his profile and found he lived in CHCH...

First there were cheeky messages... and from that grew chats on msn... to emails and phone calls....

We found that the distance thing gave us plenty of time to chat and get to know one another without pressures.

We found there was a lot of common ground and when I decided that I would come to an event in Christchurch we agreed to meet.

It was as though we were an old married couple, talking and sharing dreams and finding out even more about each other.

It was still not a done deal though until I came home and realised I had fallen for this man...

I just had to tell him. When I did he asked what took me so long to decide as he had already decided that I was the one for him.

The long and short of this story is that I found my true love on FSO and made some terrific friends in the process.

Noel came to Auckland to live with me in January 2003 and we have been living happily ever after since.

Just because there is distance between you it doesn't mean it can't work.... don't completely close your mind

We didn't close our minds and look where that went.
